Finnair has announced three new seasonal destinations for the summer of 2015: Dublin, Athens and Malta. The flight timing of the three new routes has been specially designed to facilitate the transfer of Asian passengers in Helsinki. The Helsinki-to-Dublin service will be launched on March 30, Malta on April 2 and Athens on April 5. The new route will operate until the end of October, and passengers can start booking tickets now.

The Helsinki - Dublin flight is one every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a total of six flights operated by Embraer's Embraer 190 aircraft with a total capacity of 100 seats. Flybe will operate the route on behalf of Finnair.

Flights from Helsinki to the international airport near Valletta, Malta's capital, are operated by Airbus A321 Sharkfin winglets on Mondays and Thursdays; The Athens service is operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays by A319 or A320 aircraft.

Petri Vuori, Finnair's Vice President of Global Sales, said: "In order to meet the travel needs of our passengers, we plan to launch these three new routes. At the same time, we also try to align the flight times of the new route with the arrival time of Asian flights at Helsinki Airport, so that passengers can transfer easily. Passengers from Finland and the Baltic region can also use our flights to these wonderful destinations."
